The beautiful riverside views were the reason I chose this location. Access was simple and instructions clear. The apartment itself was nice and clean. Parking wasn’t currently on the premises at the time of review due to repairs, but nearby alternative public parking was kindly paid for by the host. Thanks to Helen and Andrew, we had a lovely stay.

A beautiful modern, well equipped, and squeaky clean apartment where you feel instantly at home. Situated right by the river, only minutes walk to the shops, bars, and restaurants, so handy to explore this exceptional magestic city. Although central, it was very peaceful, having extremely comfy beds all contributed to uniterrupted nights sleep. Parking was so handy too. Superb hospitality! I can’t recommend enough!

Lovely apartment, great location, central but very quiet. The river was flooded when we visited but Helen & Andrew let us know in advance, arranged alternative parking and even offered to lend us some wellies, they could not have been more helpful. Excellent hosts, will stay again.

It was a wonderful stay… We had debated a hotel for luxury but wanted our own space. It felt like hotel luxury, it was spotless, so comfortable, all the touches had been thought of for our comfort but also small things that matter – good coffee, a xmas tree and even xmas kitchen towel. Communication was excellent and also personal. I couldn’t recommend highly enough. Oh and lastly, the views and location are 5 star.

Beautiful, immaculately clean apartment with lovely river views. My 4 year old daughter particularly enjoyed sitting in the window people watching. We stayed as a group of 4 , photos do not do Helen’s place justice! Absolutely stunning! Spotless everywhere, beautiful furniture and accessories, even a Christmas Tree! Walking distance to everything, will definitely be returning to York and hopefully stay at Helen’s place again . 😊
